Description

This work was created during the pandemic. It reflects my restless curiosity to manipulate and transform everyday materials. Through a process of improvisation, layer upon layer of found papers and mixed media are adhered to a wood panel and then scraped, peeled and sanded away.  Organic textures and images are buried and revealed simultaneously producing a soft overall visual field where the eye is free to roam and find surprising detail wherever it rests.
