I’ve been in love with textiles since my teens, emulating my mother and grandmother, accomplished seamstresses. Having participated in the 1970s surge in fiber arts, it’s thrilling to witness it’s legitimacy today. Combining materials on hand, I’ve been busy making sculptural works while pandemically home bound that look at where we’ve been and where we are now, with an eye to where we want to be in the future.
