A Community offering to begin the healing process through the power of art.

The Main Gallery will feature a Collaborative Community Project called Healing Hearts that is open to everyone, all ages, all day long – please come to create a piece of this special project that will signify the hearts of all in the community.

Art Impact Project will also be providing 4 separate project groups during the day in The Art Center space.

10:00: Adults

Babysitting services will be provided in the building, with younger ones safe and doing an art project as well

11:00 and 12:00: groups open to everyone

1:00: Young Adults and Adolescents

All groups start promptly on the hour indicated

A collaboration of The Art Center Highland Park and Art Impact Project

Art Impact Project is a nonprofit organization that designs and facilitates art programming to enhance emotional wellness. We partner with mental and behavioral health facilities, recovery sites, schools, after school programs, Veterans groups, a young adult re-entry program and the Lake County Jail. We work alongside participants in group settings and encourage safe and healthy expression through art making.
