DESCRIPTION:A Community offering to begin the healing process through the power of art.\n\nThe Main Gallery will feature a Collaborative Community Project called Healing Hearts that is open to everyone, all ages, all day long – please come to create a piece of this special project that will signify the hearts of all in the community.\n\nArt Impact Project will also be providing 4 separate project groups during the day in The Art Center space.\n\n<strong>10:00: </strong>Adults\n\nBabysitting services will be provided in the building, with younger ones safe and doing an art project as well\n\n<strong>11:00</strong> and <strong>12:00: </strong>groups open to everyone\n\n<strong>1:00: </strong>Young Adults and Adolescents\n\nAll groups start promptly on the hour indicated\n\n \n\n<img class="size-medium wp-image-41229 alignleft" src="https://theartcenterhp.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Art-Impact-Project-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />A collaboration of The Art Center Highland Park and Art Impact Project\n\nArt Impact Project is a nonprofit organization that designs and facilitates art programming to enhance emotional wellness. We partner with mental and behavioral health facilities, recovery sites, schools, after school programs, Veterans groups, a young adult re-entry program and the Lake County Jail. We work alongside participants in group settings and encourage safe and healthy expression through art making.
