Join Featured famil-E Artist Joyce Elias for a workshop designed to explore the art of collage.
Late in his life, Henri Matisse created a colorful series of paper collages. He said that he said he was, “painting with scissors”.
In this workshop, students will experiment with color, play with a variety of paper, and explore differen adhesives to discover their favorite.
Students can expect to create a collage or two to take home!

Joyce Elias is a multi-media artist. Her love of color is the common thread. Most recently, she has been creating a series of bold and bright paper collages. She will be exhibiting in the famil-E exhibition, along with Joshua Elias and Sheila Elias, for the first time on JUNE 17-JULY 30 at the Art Center Highland Park.
All students must be vaccinated and wear masks throughout their visit to The Art Center.
