Iron Five Documentary

One-night-only screening of the award-winning documentary of what Time Magazine called the most important moment in basketball history.

Wilmette resident, Rino Liberatore will showcase his documentary “Iron Five” chronicling the story of the 1963 Loyola Rambler Basketball Team, still the only school from Illinois to ever win the NCAA Championship.

Time magazine called Loyola’s improbable journey to the title game, battling social injustice along the way, as among the most important moments in college basketball history.“Iron Five” debuted at The Black Harvest Film Festival and aired on WGN-TV. It can only be seen at this special event on Thursday evening December 2nd at 7 pm at The Art Center Highland Park in the Main Gallery, 1957 Sheridan Road.

Run-time: 22 minutes. Event includes a brief presentation by Rino, a question and answer opportunity, and a cash bar reception to follow.

Vaccination proof must be supplied at the door and masks are required.
