Natural science museums use enlarged displays, such as giant pollen, as a way to teach the public about microscopic worlds. My enlarged pollen sculptures bring the micro world into the macro in a similar way, giving people a bee’s eye view of the micro-world of flowers. The variety of pollen forms lend themselves to sculpture. Lily pollen has a lozenge shape with four grooves.
