Terry Luc – A Man of These Times

Description

This is a self portrait, inspired by the work of Lucian Freud. It was painted just before the COVID crisis hit. At the time I painted it, I saw it as a contemplation of a life lived, of years gone past.  It strikes me now as a prophetic bracing for what was to come.
