Description
The Days of Quarantine Series began as an exploration to the probability concerning cancer in my family. As we launched into isolation with the Stay at Home Order due to the Covid-19, I committed to making a piece a day and posting it on Instagram. Using cut up photographs, paint, and collage, I created a world of figures. Then people began to comment that the “figures” were not “social distancing.” New perceptions were developing based on our experiences of the pandemic. The series is a record or journal of both my own personal reactions as well as the world around me.
