Art in City Hall

The City of Highland Park has partnered with TAC to bring a wonderful Outreach opportunity to local artists as well as to all in the community to peruse at Highland Park’s historical City Hall building. The fall 2014 exhibit can be viewed at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park, from October 6th – December 5th with an opening reception on Monday, October 13th from 4:00pm – 5:00pm. The purpose of this outreach exhibit is to support and promote the arts in Highland Park, and rotates on a quarterly basis, all artwork is for sale through The Art Center – Highland Park.

Highland Park is a leader in supporting and promoting the arts. This initiative exemplifies our commitment to supporting and expanding accessibility to the arts. Throughout history, the arts have been instrumental in creating unique public places that have yielded wonderful benefits for communities. We are pleased to provide this exhibit for Highland Park.

Spring / Summer  – Art in City Hall

May 25 – September 14, 2015
Opening Reception: Monday, June 1st 4pm – 5pm

TAC and the City of Highland Park are currently seeking artists to exhibit work in Highland Park’s City Hall, located at 1707 St. John’s Ave, Highland Park, IL. The purpose of this exhibit is to support and promote the arts in the community. Open to Illinois artists living in Lake County. All original works created by submitting artists in the last 5 years. Open to only 2-D artwork, all artwork must be wired, framed and ready for hanging.
