Gina Grillo

Gina J. Grillo is a photographic artist and teacher who has created innovative programs that explore photography as a means for understanding cultural diversity, and creativity as a positive force for social change. With an MFA from Columbia College Chicago, Gina has served as Adjunct faculty in the Photography Department of Columbia College, teaching beginning and advanced courses in photography for over 11 years. Also to her credit Gina has designed and taught innovative photography programs for the University of Chicago’s Graham School, and for the International Center on Response to Catastrophes at the University of Illinois at Chicago. A great advocate of experiential education, Gina has created international visual arts programs in Italy, for Loyola University’s John Felice Rome Center, for Il Chiostro’s San Fedele, and for the Visual and Performing Arts Florence Program of Columbia College Chicago.
