Explore an expressive approach to Printmaking. Learn the Relief Print process using easy techniques to attain sophisticated results and rich color layering. Experiment with cutting tools to create bold images on Linoleum blocks, or a cardboard relief plate using textural materials. We'll also learn the Intaglio technique of Dry point. By directly incising into a metal plate, you'll be able to quickly attain an image with rich tonal qualities. Discover new directions in your work by creating a series of images in a friendly studio environment. All levels welcome.
