Explore a hands-on, expressive approach to Printmaking. Learn how to paint and draw onto a plastic plate with printing inks, and transfer onto paper using a press to create a one-of-a-kind printed image. This amazingly simple technique makes it easy to achieve wonderful marks, replicated textures and layers of color. Discover new directions in your work by working spontaneously to create a series of images in a friendly studio environment. We will cover additive and subtractive methods, stencils, collage, and use of black and white and color inks. All levels welcome. Paper and some supplies available to purchase from TAC.
