The Art Center Highland Park (TAC) is excited to announce a new initiative, the Choose a program campaign. Your contribution has the power to open doors for all and to transform lives by donating to one of the below art programs. If you would like to make a contribution to our campaign, please complete the form below. Wellness Program
Includes art classes geared to finding inner peace, which leads to better health. The wellness art program will be helpful in healing and transitioning leaning toward being therapeutic and rehabilitative—leading to total health.

Program Needs
Underwriting: $5,000 for general programming development and scholarships
Art Wellness Specialists: $30 an hour
Activity Mats: $20 each
Therapeutic Chairs: $150
Scholarships: $350 per student
Art Supplies: $50 per student
Wellness caretakers/assistants: $47 an hour
Art on Location: $75 an hour


Military Families Program
The Military Families Program provides art enrichment scholarships and opportunities to all immediate families of those who have served in the military starting in the year 2000. Individual and family courses and/or workshops will be offered.

Program Needs
Underwriting: $5,000 for general programming development and scholarships
Scholarships: $350 per student
Supplies: $50 per student


Student Scholarship Fund
Need and merit based scholarships are available through donations. Need-based scholarships are granted to those who would not ordinarily be able to afford participating in art enrichment courses. Students attending courses at TAC who have shown extraordinary talent, workmanship, and citizenship earn merit scholarships.

Scholarships: $350 per student
Supplies: $50 per student
Bi-lingual Assistants: $20 an hour


Me and My Grown Up Series
The Me and My Grown Up Series is designed for little artists and their caretakers to enjoy creating mini masterpieces together while improving the little artists’ fine motor skills involving synchronization of hands and fingers with the eyes.

Program Needs
Underwriting: $5,000 for general programming and scholarships
Scholarships: $195 per student
Musical Instruments: $30 per student instrument set
Activity Mats: $20 each
Low tables and children’s chairs: $100 for one table and four chairs
Supplies: $125 per child
Early Childhood Instructor Specialists: $30 hour


Joyeria Jewelry Making Program
The Joyeria Jewelry Making Program provides economically challenged residents of Highland Park and Highwood the opportunity to participate in a series of jewelry making and metalsmithing courses. The program offers opportunities for Spanish speakers to develop technique, lucrative skills, and self-esteem.

Program Needs
General Underwriting: $5,000 for general programming and scholarships
Scholarships: $400 per class
Supplies: $175 per student
