Simple line can communicate drama, energy, emotions, or visual direction. Using copper, brass, bronze, or aluminum, learn to design and create three-dimensional sculpture of functional objects using linear elements and implied or actual movement. Poetic, expressive lines in metal can be achieved through forging, forming, bending, and twisting techniques. Methods and ideas for incorporating movement into the projects will be discussed.
